Student A: Can you believe the way news and entertainment have merged recently? It really irritates me that
they don't report the news accurately.

Student B: That trend is symbolic of how the popularity of TV stations depends
on the extent that they can entertain viewers. I think it's a
symptom of the expansion of pop culture into all areas of society.

Student A: If the stations want to gain more prestige, why don't they reproduce
the news in a more intelligent manner?

Student B: The recent variation on newscasts seems to magnify their audience
and help them to prosper financially.

Student A: Yes, but I find it unusually synthetic.

Student B: Well, maybe they will be able to find better harmony between news
and ertainment in the future.

A 生：你能相信最近新聞融合娛樂的方式嗎？他們不正確地播報新聞，真是令我生氣。

B 生：這種趨勢表示電視臺受不受歡迎取決於他們能夠娛樂觀眾的程度。我想，這是流
行文化擴大到社會各層面的一種表徵。

A 生：如果電視臺想要獲得更多的聲望，他們為什麼不用更理智的方式重製新聞？

B 生：新聞播送最近的這種變動似乎增加了他們的觀眾，也幫助他們賺了不少錢。

A 生：是沒錯，但我覺得這非常地造作。

B 生：嗯，也許他們將來會在新聞和娛樂之間，找到更好的平衡。
