【楊喻斐╱台北報導】迎接物聯網世代來臨，封測大廠日月光（2311）擴大投資規模，昨日在楠梓加工區第2園區，舉行K24廠房動土典禮，預計2018年底完工，可望創造1800個工作機會，總投資金額約140億元，滿載年產值達115億元。

根據市場調查機構MarketsandMarkets今年9月最新預估，物聯網市值將從2015年的1303.3億美元（約4.04兆台幣），以 32.4 % 的年複合成長率增加至 2022 年的 8835.5 億美元（約27.39兆台幣），帶動半導體大廠紛紛加入物聯網相關產業的研發與製造，搶食兆元商機。
看好物聯網商機爆發，日月光決定投入興建K24廠，投入高階封裝技術，該廠為一個地下2層、地上8層的建築，總面積達2萬坪，可創造1800個就業機會。
建築物的外觀將以晶片IC的圖騰進行設計，除了防震、防光害技術外，整棟建築物將採綠建築工法設計。
