Task 5 答題要求:

(1) Briefly summarize the problem the speakers are discussing.

(2) Then state which solution you would recommend.

(3) Explain the reasons for your recommendation.



Task 5是口說六題我覺得比較簡單的, 我參考的是 Notefull的回答法, 教學連結如下

回應答題要求 (1)

(a) Tonight, her theater class is taking a bus trip downtown to catch a play,
they got free tckets, and it's for a class assignment.

(b) BUT she has a big history test the next day to prepare for.

She can EITHER go on the trip while doing her best cramming for the test,
OR skip the trip and go watch the play after the test by herself.

Putting myself in this situation, I'd probably skip the trip first.

Going and cramming isn't ideal
BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH she gets to cover both and watch a free show,
she might risk studying in poor conditions
LIKE doing it on the bus and staying up late.

Skipping the play for test prep is BETTER
BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH she has to pay for that expensive theater ticket, she can
pull off the history test and the theater class paper at ease.

心得:

1. 第一部分的時間控制很重要,

Theater class部分有三個重點 trip+ticket+assignment 正好是列舉一個 ABC List。


2. 第二部分越簡單越好, 就是個主題句+從事實陳述切換到個人意見。


版上示範音檔常見錯誤為 "I'd recommend for 人 to V,"

我在google輸入過這個表達, 沒有吐出來甚麼結果, 查文法書後正確句子應為

"I'd reccomend that 人 should V" 或 "I'd recommend that 人 V"。


3. 第三部份看似很難, 其實只是講兩個 BECAUSE+ 兩個 EVEN THOUGH 對比句。
