鹽水區鄰近海邊，古時候可以透過八掌溪經由從布袋往鹽水，再通往台灣
海峽。而這裡的居民也有很多來自中國福建沿海地區，並長年以討海為生。
據說，在清光緒11年時，鹽水區爆發瘟疫大流行，居民向長年守護鹽水區
域的「關聖帝君」（關公）祈求平安。後來依鹽水武廟擲筊的結果，訂於
元宵節的晚上請出武廟中的周倉爺（關公的左右副將之一）開路，從武廟
殿後一路施放爆竹，並繞行鹽水地方一整晚來消災解厄。後來逐漸演變成
每年元宵節當地居民的一個傳統，然後變了現在大家所熟知的「鹽水蜂炮」

站長的鹽水蜂炮經歷並不長，從2011年開始到現在才5個年頭，
而今年更是帶著樂活團第一次來鹽水武廟拍攝，
並讓大家體驗一下這世界知名的蜂炮魅力。
今年的鹽水蜂炮定在3/4與3/5日舉行，但內行的都知道3/4只是牛刀小試，
要等到元宵節當天的3/5才是重頭戲。
由於15:00鹽水區就會進行交管，想要開車進入的人可得提早進入

時間大概是傍晚的17:30左右，鹽水市區整個下午都很熱鬧，
當然也有男性朋友最愛的鋼管辣妹。不過請記得，尊重這些專業工作者，
請不要對他們有任何肢體上的接觸

18:00前武廟的神轎開始準備繞境，總共會分成三路，
最後會集合到鹽水國中操場的主炮城處

繞境開始時官方會施放第一座炮城，請提前將裝備穿戴整齊，不然真的會受傷喔！

官方推薦的裝備：全罩式安全帽、棉質口罩、圍巾類防護、
牛仔外套（應該是厚外套即可）、手套、牛仔長褲（厚長褲）、
運動鞋。記得千萬不要穿新衣服來，不然被炸壞會很心疼

時間大約晚上18:00整，神轎的隊伍已經整裝待發

突然間大家頭上的瀑布煙火開始施放，等於告知繞境活動正式展開

在同個時候，官方的第一座炮城也悄悄推進現場。以最初的意義來說，
蜂炮炸的目標是神轎而不是人，所以蜂炮是對著天空衝。
但可能因為刺激或其他的因素，慢慢演變成一種被炸得樂趣，
有一些民間的蜂炮做成往人身上衝的模式，雖然很過癮，
但也造成了很多人受傷。後來官方就一直宣導，不要製作對著人衝的蜂炮

在一連串的確認過程後，官方的蜂炮正式施放，
來不及反應與沒有穿戴裝備的人可糗大了。
所以再次提醒，請全程穿戴裝備為佳

炮城施放完畢後會接著煙火，這已經是鹽水蜂炮的慣例

接著神轎開始繞境，參與者可以跟著其中一路來共同行進

當地居民在自家的陽台上悠哉的看繞境，但也有少數居民不參與這個活動。
請記得繞境時，儘量避免撞擊或壓到民宅的鐵門與設施，以免發生衝突

走了一小段路後，我們的隊伍碰上了第一座民間炮城。在神轎遶境活動中，
當神轎抵達民宅門前時，民眾可以推出自家的炮城，並由主人拉開紅布，
撕下炮台上賀詞，例如：「恭祝 關聖帝君 聖誕千秋 弟子某某某叩謝」
等字樣的紅紙，再與金紙共同焚燒祝禱，最後就可以引燃自家的炮城，
讓遶境神明點收蜂炮

民間炮城可不像官方那樣是吃素的，幾乎所有的炮城都是火力十足，

接著，我們趁神轎還在繞境時鮮趕往官方主炮城的鹽水國中操場。
因為依照以往的經驗，等等神轎到期後會被人群塞滿，所以要先來卡位。
場邊放著這條熱帶魚似乎是昨天（3/4）的主炮

主舞台目前有一些樂團在表演，預計20:00會開始主炮城活動

檢查了一下裝備，站長發現剛剛犁蜂炮時因為胸口被直擊，
結果手機螢幕竟然破了！而我左手的部份也被炸傷了一小塊，
還好我裝備有其全，不然可是凶多吉少了吧...

約20:00時，神轎陸續開始進場

首先進場的是蜂炮體驗營製作的蜂炮，這是一個讓民眾可以參加製作蜂炮的活動，
每年鹽水蜂炮前幾天會展開，除了一般民眾之外，還有很多老外參加

經歷了民家炮城的洗禮，蜂炮體驗營的蜂炮就顯得小兒科了

之後是官方的主瀑布煙火，比武廟前施放的還要大上兩倍

接著到市長致詞時間，可能是因為柯p效應影響，賴市長也說的相當簡短，
而且除了市長之外，其他來賓都沒有致詞。另外，照片上看來賓席那邊似乎
有一層網狀的物體在前方，這是為了來賓特別架起來保護網，讓來賓能不
穿裝備就近距離觀看炮城

之後我們要進入官方第一座主炮城，是擁有10萬發蜂炮的三羊開泰、神采飛揚

炮城結束後，一樣是接煙火施放

第二座官方主炮城，是擁有25萬發蜂炮的鹽水蜂炮 喜氣洋洋慶元宵

最後一座主炮城，是擁有45萬發蜂炮的鹽水蜂炮 獨占鰲頭、年年有餘。
身為最後壓軸的主炮城，看起來好像不怎麼樣，其實這座炮城另有玄機

隨著工作人員邊喊著：來～來來～擱來～擱來...
你看到的沒錯！是的，砲城變形了！最後變了擁有三層樓高的巨型主炮城

官方活動完畢之後，還有一個與中國廣西合作的炮龍隊活動。
簡單地來說，就是一群人光著上身舞龍，然後邊舞邊往他們身上丟鞭炮

不知道是鞭炮的成份問題還是怎樣，炸龍隊鞭炮的煙非常濃而且嗆，
連大風也吹不散。站長跑了一整晚的蜂炮也沒事，竟然再照炮龍時被嗆到，
在寫這邊文章前還跑去看了耳鼻喉科...
還聯想到了之前中國很夯的影片「穹頂之下」... ...

炮龍最後的下場就是在炮堆中火化升天，
然後鹽水國中的操場似乎也被火化了...

官方活動結束後，武廟的神轎會繼續繞境給民間炮城炸，一直會持續到半夜為止。
今年有很多相當有創意的民間炮城，但站長到這邊已經十分疲憊，

修德拜亭往前過了周倉廟後，往右手邊就是王爺巷，這個主題叫做：張燈結綵。
整條巷子都掛著燈籠，非常有過年的氣氛

王爺巷中除了燈節的裝飾之外，
還有由台南市環保局以回收只製作的人氣熊貓玩偶群，
每一隻都栩栩生，這可是有錢都買不到的寶貝喔

王爺巷對面可以通往一銀巷，聽起來好像很厲害，
但其實是敘述「鹽水第一銀行」後的巷子。
這裡的裝是主題是：老街絮語。運用了造型不同的對畫框，
營造出老街生活對話的奇幻境象
