有人提到中運量的標準是單向運量20000人次
但目前高雄捷運列車載運量750人
班次極限三分鐘一班
這樣每小時單向運量是15000人
連中運量的底標都沒達到
如果日運量達到30萬
雙向三萬人去計算
高雄捷運市區段會有十個小時都是尖峰
而且是擁擠到難受的地步
這種服務水準怎麼可能吃得下後續擴充路網
所以當初預留後段直接蓋重軌是對的
沒有用六節跑
下場就是跟文湖線一樣
一開始就做死沒法擴充運量
每天搭捷運都是惡夢
