自從上次沒吃到品田牧場而踩到"禾野鐵板燒"這顆核子彈後,
這間王品系列的豬排店頓時成了怨念之一。
知道王品集團旗下餐廳個個都有相當豐富的選擇,
為了到時候點餐不要浪費太多時間,我還特地上官網查了一下。
官網首頁沒多少字,倒是滿滿的"幸福"。
11個"幸福"耶,我的媽啊,那應該很好吃才是。
這次特地提早來,無需排隊,但也坐了約九成滿,真可怕。
一入座便看到似乎只要是有點規模的豬排店都要放的研磨缽和芝麻,
就算跟對面的沒話聊還可以磨來磨去避免尷尬。
但這件事情在品田似乎不大需要擔心就是。
磨著磨著,我告訴自己,環境整潔,服務生又正,好幸福啊。
才剛磨好芝麻,立馬上桌的三道小菜,水果串配優格醬,泰式鮮蝦春捲,高麗菜絲。
水果串的鳳梨還不錯,至少是牛奶鳳梨。
泰式春捲其實就是原燒的生春捲縮小版本。
高麗菜絲,好小一碟,不過可以麻煩服務生不斷續盤(雖然好像也不大需要)。
也許是習慣的問題,但我比較喜歡偏酸的豬排醬。
而這邊的豬排醬和芝麻醬都偏甜。
豬排醬偏甜之外,有水果的味道,用豬排沾著吃頗為解膩。
芝麻醬就真的有在吃甜點的感覺了。
不管淋哪一種在高麗菜絲上,我都不習慣,做罷。
雖然小菜水準持平,不過上菜速度迅速,肚子餓的客人一定感到很幸福吧,我想。
招待,莎莎酥炸豚。
小菜還沒吃完,招待已然上桌。
這道菜是將大量洋蔥和碎豬肉(應該是豬排在整形時切下來的邊肉),
混在一起捏成球狀再高溫油炸,也就是炸肉丸。
味道持平,沒甚麼驚喜,就是炸肉丸。
招待嘛,算頗有誠意了。
第一次來就有招待可以吃耶!還是炸肉丸,你說是不是很幸福。
招待還沒吃完,主餐上桌。
除了豬排跟白飯,還附了解膩用水果醋,茶碗蒸,和豆腐碎魚肉味增湯一碗。
茶碗蒸,嫩滑度是有的,但沒甚麼味道。
除了味道淡以外,食材的味道和蛋的味道是分開的。
硬要給分的話,大概比吉野家的茶碗蒸好一些。
水果醋,不就是那樣子嗎?
味增湯偏淡,豆腐和魚肉都切成小塊方便食用。
吃了茶碗蒸以後,幸福感從100%掉至85%。
尤其看到桌上那麼多裝著食物的碟子,肚子真的很餓的客人也許會覺得更幸福。
但對我這想要慢條斯理地吃飯的客人來說,負擔開始加重,幸福感也不斷墜落。
沒關係,重點,豬排上場!
菲力豬排(腰內肉)。
我不想點所謂的花式豬排(就是加一些像是香草起司,海苔培根,哇沙米之類的東西),
第一次造訪嘛,就以最單純的肉質決勝負吧。
但我失望了。
麵衣還行,不過也就是麵衣。
再說厚度。
不含麵衣,肉本身的厚度大約是1.5CM,好薄啊。
這樣的豬排吃起來要怎麼幸福你告訴我啊!
啊,我知道了,兵不在多貴在精。
那這麼薄又還有筋的豬排到底是幸福在哪裡!
如果今天這套餐只賣我150元,我會高興得尖叫、賣我200元我會開心地叫朋友來吃。
含服務費要330元是怎麼回事!
不要和日本的豬排比(因為只能乖乖地被打爆),
勝博殿和杏子只能看到品田的車尾燈(因為已經贏快一圈了)。
記憶中,豬排品質跟福勝亭差不多的樣子。
順帶一提,熱著吃還有一絲肉腥味,唉。
另一道,沙朗豬排+香酥炸蝦。
炸蝦個頭算大,新鮮度也還可接受(冷凍貨就別計較太多)。
因為搭了炸蝦,沙朗豬排(里肌肉)就變小了。
號稱菲力的腰內肉都被我嫌了,沙朗能好到哪去?
其實還不差耶,因為吃起來跟我的腰內肉其實差不多嘛。
還是說店員出給我的其實是里肌肉?
因為除了肉質略差以外,腰內肉的顏色其實會較深,也不應該是片狀的。
另一主角,白飯。
好吃的豬排店,只需要把豬排和白飯做好,其他都是噱頭。
這邊的白飯.....好啦,不算差。
第一碗偏軟,也糊掉不少。
第二碗較好一點,還算有嚼勁。
吃了兩碗飯以後,我飽了,但我也失去了幸福的感覺。
肚子滿而不足,大概就是這樣的情況。
甜點和飲料。
寒天凍飲,也就是原燒那一套。
芝麻冰淇淋倒是還不錯,底下也鋪了玉米脆片,而且是現鋪的,不是隔夜貨
(想到上次吃的蛋包飯附的聖代差點潸然淚下)。
正妹服務生要我們填寫問卷時,我實在不知道該怎麼寫才好。
所以我只寫了"難道王品集團只剩下服務了嗎?"
然後正妹服務生就過來關切了。
"先生,不好意思,請問今天的主餐有甚麼問題嗎?"她彎著腰,畢恭畢敬地問著。
"肉質蠻差的啊,又有筋。"
她愣住了,似乎從來沒聽過客人給這答案。
"那請問是主菜太乾嗎?"
"不.....是肉質太差啊。"奇怪,我國語這麼不標準嗎?
"那請問是飲料跟甜點的問題嗎?"她很慌張地繼續問。
"那些都還好,是肉質很差啊。"我到底要回答幾次才能跳出這詭異的迴圈,
講到我都不好意思看著她的眼睛繼續講下去。
"對不起,對不起....."之後越說越小聲,我想她自己應該也不知道要說些甚麼吧。
我想,以她慌張的程度,就算我此時說"道歉時露出乳溝是常識吧?"
她搞不好也會立刻秀出來給我看這樣。
此時,我了解了。
王品集團的服務,是SOP,制式化的動作。
只要有一個他們無法理解的動作或回答,服務生馬上當機給你看。
所以我不覺得我會接到品田主管的電話。
離去前,店內超滿,十分熱鬧。
餐飲業要有相當熱忱的服務,這是對的。
但一間餐廳除了服務以外,更應該將心力著重在料理上頭。
這讓我不禁想到日本的松阪牛。
農戶讓牛隻喝啤酒,全身按摩,精心飼養好換得漂亮的評分與售價。
品田牧場,賣的是幸福的感覺(我則稱之為假象),而我們則是裡頭的動物。
