我不太清楚 misnomer as 的用法
看到這句都會誤會成

自發性的風化，
是一種名字的誤用
(被看成是)一種需要很長時間的過程

[意思：短時間的過程，但被誤認成需要很長時間]


但正確的解釋應該是[後頭的中文解釋]

(實際上是)一種需要很長時間的過程

[意思：長時間個過程，但被誤認為需要很短時間]

兩者剛好相反，
真令人頭痛~~
