英文這幾句不懂？！ - 自學

我「個人」不認為bear the good qualities這種用法有什麼不好
照Collins Cobuild Third Edition: if you can't bear someone or something,
you dislike them very much. 個人私心以為還滿符合句意的。

另外，除非程度已達native或near native，不然我建議話儘量不要講死，
若程度沒有到某個高度即便查遍了一堆字典也不能確定是否真的沒有網友問的
那種說法。

They were continually looking glass
這個是原發問者誤解文中用法
另外，我覺得po文的人儘量能一字不漏（即使是標點符號）完全按照
原文打下來。因為即便是一點點小小的差別，也會造成整個句意模糊不明。

They were continually looking glass

因為原文應為They were continually at their looking-glass
所以是形容詞。解釋如下：
