金口福小籠湯包是我從小吃到大的回憶,
但那回不去的價格,卻只能追憶。
說也奇怪,金口福小籠湯包與我兒時的記憶鏈結,
居然是一間耳鼻喉科。小時候感冒看完醫生,
因為就在附近,爸媽都會順路到金口福外帶一盒小籠湯包回家,
便當紙盒裝滿八顆,醬料另外裝在透明塑膠袋,
印象中醬料包總是膨膨鼓鼓的。回家後,
總是迫不及待打開紙盒,盒蓋上積滿一顆顆透亮的小水珠,
在掀蓋的同時滑入盒中,讓小籠湯包的外皮光澤閃爍,
最後一個步驟,也是最重要的,把醬汁一股腦兒倒入,
這就是我記憶裡外帶版的金口福。
長大後,偶爾會直接到店裡吃它一籠解解饞。
位於楠梓火車站周邊,店前攤子上擺滿大口湯鍋及長柄杓,
蒸籠向上層層堆疊,並排圍成一堵牆。掀開蒸籠的那一刻,
蒸氣裊裊,白霧裡瀰漫小籠湯包香甜豐美的氣息,
入座前總會先通過蒸氣的洗禮,像是某種歡迎儀式。

上桌的小籠湯包剛離開蒸籠的懷抱,還熱騰騰的,
盛裝在白色的免洗紙盤,七顆交錯堆疊似一座小山丘。
小籠湯包皮薄、內餡飽滿,充滿會爆漿的湯汁。
動筷時必須小心翼翼,咬下前絕不可把皮劃破,
是我的小堅持;若真不小心劃破了皮,
或偶爾上桌前就有一兩顆已破口,
看著湯汁精華緩緩從缺口溢出,懊悔感油然而生,
總覺得浪費了湯汁,
就像是辜負了小籠湯包的一番美意啊!
在我心中,沾醬也算金口福小籠湯包的靈魂,
澎湃豪邁的醬汁份量,每桌都有一個深口鐵盆,
黑色醬油基底,加入切碎的洋蔥、青蔥及辣椒,
店家還會適時的到各桌補充,
傾倒大把大把的洋蔥及青蔥末。我會貪心的一匙匙淋上,
直到醬油把盤內白底填滿才肯罷手,
還要額外堆起小蔥山才甘心。
最喜歡的吃法是先咬破一角,吸光裡頭鮮美的湯汁,
淡淡肉香迸著蔥的清甜,再塞入大量浸泡醬油的青蔥洋蔥,
最後整粒送入口中。青蔥香、生洋蔥微微嗆辣及脆脆的嚼感,
融合肉末在嘴裡化開,只能用爽快來形容。
金口福小籠湯包誘人的醬料,可以讓人不顧口中薰人的雙蔥味,
不顧完食後的口渴,就是要加好加滿。
而這從小吃到大的美味,也從一籠八顆縮水成七顆,
價格從60元漲到70元,直逼便當價位,
唯一不變的大概是豪邁的沾醬。雖然一路喊漲,
但這伴隨我們成長的滋味,可不是說戒斷就可戒斷的呢。
