2. due to （用於表達壞的直接原因）
Due to the extreme cold, we were unable to plant the trees.
由於天氣很冷, 所以我們無法去植樹.
The event has been postponed indefinitely due to lack of interest.
由於反應冷淡,這一活動被無限期地擱置了.
be 動詞 + due to （不限原因的好壞）
His illness was due to overwork.
他的病是由於工作過度.
*應得的
The wage due to him will be paid tomorrow.
他應得的工資明天付給他.
