對中國人來說農曆新年是非常重要的日子.通常是一月底或二月初.總共有兩個星期那麼久的假期喔!除夕夜當天全家人會聚在一起吃年夜飯.吃完後.大家就會聊聊天.小孩子則是玩遊戲.到了新年當天我們就會貼新春聯.放鞭炮(據說可以嚇走年獸)大掃除.並祭拜神明和祖先.庇佑我們在新的ㄧ年當中可以過的平安又順利
也會到親友家拜年.不過最開心的當然是領紅包也就是壓歲錢.到了新的ㄧ年就代表大了一歲.意味著.要學會對自己負責.然後懂得作人處事的道理

Chinese New Year is a very important day for Chinese people. Normally it's in end of January or beginning of February. Totally around 2 weeks of holiday!
除夕夜當天全家人會聚在一起吃年夜飯.吃完後.大家就會聊聊天.小孩子則是玩遊戲.
At the new year eve, whole family will join together and enjoy "new year eve dinner". After dinner people chat around and kids can go out playing games.
到了新年當天我們就會貼新春聯.放鞭炮(據說可以嚇走年獸)大掃除.並祭拜神明和祖先.庇佑我們在新的ㄧ年當中可以過的平安又順利
也會到親友家拜年.
On the new year day we attach spring festival couplets on the wall, set off firecrackers(some says it will frighten away the spring festival monster) and clean up the whole house. We also worship our gods and ancestors for luck and safety in the coming new year.
Of course we will go to our relatives and say "Happy new year" to them.
