US citizen在美的健康保險問題 - 留學

各位板友好，

由於學校所提供的health insurance過於昂貴，每年平均要$2075.00

所以有意打算想要找外面的保險公司承保，然後waive掉學校的保險

我的身分是美國公民，但看了很多板友推薦的PSI和ISO所提供的保險內容都限定只有

international student可以承保

也問了些美國人關於保險問題，發現他們多數是由父母或是公司替他們保險

不過我父母已經在台灣定居很久了，我也沒有工作可以讓公司幫我保險


想請問各位板友的是，大家有沒有推薦的保險的公司可以單純保像我這種情形的?

只希望一年保下來可以比$2075.00還划算就好

學校那邊只要求保險內容須符合:
1. Coverage of at least $100,000 per illness and $100,000 per injury;
2. Plan in effect no later than the last day or your applicable Open
Enrollment Period; and,
3. Plan will remain in effect for the remainder of your academic year.
