【鹽水蜂炮簡介】鹽水區鄰近海邊，古時候可以透過八掌溪經由從布袋往鹽水，
再通往台灣海峽。而這裡的居民也有很多來自中國福建沿海地區，
並長年以討海為生。據說，在清光緒11年時，鹽水區爆發瘟疫大流行，
居民向長年守護鹽水區域的「關聖帝君」（關公）祈求平安。

依鹽水武廟擲筊的結果，訂於元宵節的晚上請出武廟中的周倉爺
（關公的左右副將之一）開路，從武廟殿後一路施放爆竹，
並繞行鹽水地方一整晚來消災解厄。
後來逐漸演變成每年元宵節當地居民的一個傳統，
然後變了現在大家所熟知的「鹽水蜂炮」。
時至今日，鹽水蜂炮已經名列世界三大民俗慶典，
每年都吸引許多國內外遊客前來鹽水享受萬炮齊發的體感震撼及刺激快感。

站長的鹽水蜂炮經歷從2011年開始到現在已經邁入第7個年頭了，
今年也一樣帶著樂活團來鹽水武廟拍攝一同體驗這世界知名的蜂炮魅力。
今年的鹽水蜂炮定在2/10-2/11舉行，但內行的都知道2/10只是牛刀小試，
要等到元宵節當天的2/11才是重頭戲。由於中午過後鹽水區就會進行交管，
想要開車進入的人可得提早進入。

2/11當天武廟的神轎遶境分為5條路線行進，喜歡刺激的遊客，
可跟在神轎後面，享受被「蜂螫」的快感。但一定要注意安全，
裝備務必要穿戴齊全，如果有遺漏什麼的地方，現場也有相當多小攤子在販賣。

官方推薦的裝備：全罩式安全帽、棉質口罩、圍巾類防護、牛仔外套
（應該是厚外套即可）、手套、牛仔長褲（厚長褲）、運動鞋。
記得千萬不要穿新衣服來，不然被炸壞會很心疼

接著官方人員推出武廟前第二座炮城，與去年幾乎是一模一樣

第二座炮城施放完畢後，神轎也開始移動了。
今年神轎的動線分為DEFGH五路，沿途除了炮竹滿佈之外，煙火也是四處可見

走了一小段路後就碰上了第一座民間炮城。在神轎遶境活動中，
當神轎抵達民宅門前時，民眾可以推出自家的炮城，
並由主人拉開紅布，撕下炮台上賀詞，
例如：「恭祝 關聖帝君 聖誕千秋 弟子某某某叩謝」
等字樣的紅紙，再與金紙共同焚燒祝禱，
最後就可以引燃自家的炮城，讓遶境神明點收蜂炮

今年除了鹽水國中操場有官方的舞台之外，
民間也自辦了不少活動，所以整個鹽水市區都有向這樣的小舞台

接著，我們趁神轎還在繞境時鮮趕往官方主炮城的鹽水國中操場。
因為依照以往的經驗，等等神轎到期後會被人群塞滿，
所以要先來卡位。表訂時間21:00會開始主炮城活動，
當然開炮前也是有長官致詞的儀式

在等待長官的同時，鹽水每年都會舉辦的蜂炮營也推出了自製的傳統炮城，
今年共有12座，雖然不及現代炮城的華麗，但威力一樣不容小覷

後記：今年的鹽水蜂炮人真的不少，
站長來了那麼多年第一次有被擠成肉餅的感覺，
現場也可以看到各國籍的遊客參與，算是越來越有國際感了。
不過，轎班的水準參差不齊，也發生了不少零星衝突，是比較遺憾的地方，
在此希望未來武廟在人員的教育與編制上面能更進一步，
別讓遊客們帶著好心情前來，卻被一些瑣碎的小事而打壞興致囉。
