（中央社記者劉麗榮基隆市5日電）交通部長毛治國今天到基隆火車站等地視察時指出，
明年底台鐵三軌化完成，加上新的電聯車啟用，基隆到台北尖峰時刻平均10分鐘就有1班
車。
毛治國今天在台灣鐵路管理局局長范植谷等人的陪同下，到基隆火車站、三坑站和八堵站
視察，還親自搭區間車，關心民眾搭車的滿意度。
毛治國說，9月底調整時刻後，台北到基隆尖峰時段平均每12分鐘就有1班車，接近捷運標
準；明年七堵到南港間三軌化完工後，尖峰期平均搭車時間縮短為10分鐘1班。
毛治國表示，今年6月開始，為推動北基台鐵捷運化，先進行基隆、三坑和八堵車站的外
觀改善工程，以後不但增加班次，還縮短班次時間，希望逐步改善，讓基隆人能感到驕傲
。
1名基隆民眾對此表示，可能會比較方便，但還是希望基隆能蓋捷運，帶動地方繁榮。
