負債第二多的窮縣煙火 - 苗栗

苗栗縣政府自九月二十九日開始，至十月二十七日舉辦「一○一國慶煙火暨國際藝術
季」，施放二十二場高空煙火，並舉辦多場活動，花費至少一億八千萬元，而這還只
是官方數字。這對平均每人負債金額排名全國第二的苗栗縣民而言，心頭在淌血。
說真的，縣長，苗栗縣民想要的不是浮誇的觀光人數與曇花一現的「商機」，我們要
的，是穩定的產業與安心的生活。弱勢民眾得到適當的照顧；年輕人有機會留在苗栗；
百姓財產不會無故被剝奪；辛苦工作可以拿到等值報酬；獨一無二的地景地貌、野生
動物能被妥善保護。其實就只是很簡單的安居樂業而已，無須好大喜功也能達成，但
執政者卻被眼前短小利益蒙蔽，看不見真相、聽不進諫言。
我肯定縣府團隊想為苗栗創造機會的心意，國慶煙火不是不能放，適當慶祝即可，這
一億八千萬在空中燒一燒就沒了，設攤場地收拾後也光禿禿一片，真正為苗栗留下什
麼?
