角鋼檯面板材的選擇(料理用 - 木工

各位前輩好,本人是0經驗木工新手
我想自製長/寬/高120*60*90cm的角鋼架
作為廚房中島使用
會在上面備料、放置食材等,經常會碰到水
想請教一下我該選擇什麼板材作為檯面
既可防水且無揮發物質(無毒)的呢?
1.購買ikea現成美耐板回來裁切
優點:表面美耐皮完全防水
問題:
a.裁切面自己貼皮收邊可能會很醜
個人是想說沒貼好的地方用木色矽利康再補強
b.車子可能載不下!
ikea兩種size分別是
246*63cm=3000$
186*63cm=2500$
我想買前者回來裁成兩塊
另一塊還可以拿來當成底板
但前者太長、後者又不划算
有爬文到ikea好像沒有提供裁切服務,苦惱
2.跟建材行購買4*8尺整塊來裁切
優點:便宜
問題:
a.選擇松木指接板ok嗎?
蠻喜歡他的紋路跟顏色
b.防水塗層使用VATON撥水劑可行性?
有看到這款是完全無毒、防水效果也不錯的
但缺點就是很貴,是否推薦其他做法?
