那TNR在開放環境下的效力，其實是受到質疑的

A PhD study in North Carolina suggested that although high levels of

they do not because of new immigration by more cats.
North Carolina的研究顯示: 即使對野貓做了高密度的節育，理論上依然無法減低
貓群數量，原因正是因為貓群會大量移入。
(這不正是政大的情形?實施了一段時間的TNR後，外來狗卻一直移入)
Only one peer-reviewed study showed a reduction in numbers of cats with TNR,
and only when 50% of cats were removed for an adoption program; thus it is
safe to say that TNR simply does not work in itself to control cat numbers
另一份同行的研究顯示: 除非達到50%的領養率，貓群數量才有減少的現象；
因此僅僅TNR是絕對無法掌控貓群數量
(50%的領養算什麼? 尊生社悲天憫人的同學絕對可以達到100%的領養率)
New Mexico State University researchers published a study indicating that 71–
94 % of a population must be sterlized for the population to decline assuming
there is no immigration. The authors point to some long-term studies in
which populations did not decrease and in several cases increased due to
increased dumping of cats. The authors argue that populations are not stable
and movement of cats is significant between urban areas and nearby
woodland, and that cats reach high densities when there is a reliable food
source.
這份研究指出，除非在沒有移入和節育率達到70-95%，不然貓群數量不可能會減少
而長期的研究更顯示只要有棄養的現象，TNR就更沒效果；同時當環境有可靠的食物來源
貓群數量更會呈現高密度
其他還有好幾份reference都是不支持TNR的效力，不過內容大同小異

個人的立場是，雖然TNR的效力一直被懷疑，我還是很願意去支持這樣一個行動
這類活動可以培養學生，對問題有長遠規劃和科學態度去處理它
就算最後沒效果，去了解到底哪裡出毛病了也是個收穫
可是有些人給我的感覺完全不是這麼科學
你們強調的是愛心、悲天憫人這類左派團體用的口號
狗群變大、TNR好像沒收到效果，怎麼沒看到你們去找問題的根源，用WIKI會很難嗎?
我只聽到這類的言語 : "TNR是長期的，你要等他出來效果"，"校方不配合"
what the fuck!? 你念到大學了，除了口號和藉口以外就啥都不懂了?
你很愛狗我能體會，但是被狗追的同學，肯定希望你能多愛他一點
你想用TNR解決問題，又說這是治本之道，我只能說去看一下中文WIKI--
