給各位想學英文寫做的版友，一些有關essay的基本架構。 - 自學

一般來說，英文寫作跟中文寫作不同。

中文寫作講究起承轉合。

注重的是文章的跌宕性，有沒有層次、意境。

但英文寫作，在我個人的意見看來，

是文章有沒有強調性。

在英文寫作中，你所寫的句子，能不能把你的主題給撐起來。

以上是個人意見，是淺論而已。

基本essay格式分五段。

先設一個topic。

再來第一段是你的introduction。

二到四是你的三個subtopics，也就是你文章的body。

最後一段是conclusion。

一篇好的英文寫作，首重你的introduction怎麼寫。

不論你topic定的再不好，若能一眼勾起別人想看這篇文章的興趣，你就成功了。

寫introduction需知。

1.You have to attract the reader's attention.又稱"hook" the reader.

2.To give basic/background information about the topic

3.To preview/introduce the main points(subtopics) of your essay.

4.Thesis statement.This is the final sentence of the introduction,

you have to state the general idea of the essay.
