◎ 暖身練習句‧就要這樣學：
→ There are some questions you should ask before you sign the lease.
(簽租約之前有一些問題應該先問清楚)
→ If they'll guarantee me a trouble-free stay, then I'm all ears!
(如果能保證讓我住得輕鬆沒煩惱，我洗耳恭聽囉。)
◎ 租屋十問：
1.Am I allowed to eat in my room? (我可以在房間吃東西嗎?)
2.How are meals arranged? Will I need to do my own cooking?
(三餐怎麼安排？我要自己做飯嗎？)
3.Am I allowed to use the kitchen? If so, are there any special rules?
(我可以用廚房嗎？如果可以 ，有什麼特殊規定嗎？)
4.Are there any chores I have to do? (我必須做什麼家事嗎？)
5.Is there a schedule for the bathroom? (浴室有特別排定的使用時間嗎？)
6.Am I allowed to use the telephone/computer? (我可以用電話/電腦嗎？)
7.Can I invite friends over? Are there times when I can't have friends over?
(我可以請朋友來嗎？什麼時候不能帶朋友來？)
8.Do you allow smokers? (你准許房客吸煙嗎？)
9.Where can I do my laundry? (哪裡可以洗衣服？)
10.Who do I give the rent to? How do I pay for utilities?
(我要把租金給誰？水電費怎麼付？)
