國民黨高雄市長候選人李眉蓁在政見會中提及蘭姆酒產業，還推出競選廣告，要打造高雄成為亞洲的蘭姆酒鄉。她說，「蘭姆酒業不僅能提升原本農業產值，還能創造在地工作機會、帶來無限商機，不要小看釀酒產值，2019年全球烈酒產業規模大約是半導體產業的8成，而蘭姆酒在烈酒市場排名前五、成長率是烈酒當中最高。」
對此，粉專《高雄好過日》發文表示，「影印機」、「草包2.0」李眉蓁試圖在本次高雄市長選舉重演韓國瑜「挖石油、摩天輪、發大財」路線，提出「蘭姆酒」產業鏈政策，卻遭到在地年輕政治工作者李雨蓁狠狠打臉。
《高雄好過日》表示，李雨蓁拿出李眉蓁所不具備的研究與論文撰寫能力，一一收集數據，經過精密計算得出，要完成李眉蓁高雄蘭姆酒產業鏈「市佔率達全球1/10」目標，則需三大條件：一、高雄甘蔗年產量需增產894倍；二、甘蔗田面積需擴增到509平方公里，相當於三個舊高雄市大小；三、 沿海平原都需剷平種甘蔗，需要27066億以上 徵收經費，是高雄負債8倍，中央總預算的1.28倍。
《高雄好過日》直言，也就是如果要完成李眉蓁政見，高雄負債要暴增27000億，遷移200萬人口，將會成為史上第一個「種甘蔗釀酒而亡市滅國」的案例！
