　　Some people believe that the extracurricular activities and afterschool
homework of children should be assigned by the school, while others claim
that children should be allowed to choose to do what they want after school.
　　波波老師點睛：題目本身是A or B的選擇題，很明顯這個題目我們可以使用讓步—轉
折—遞進結構，先讓步承認學校規定孩子課後作業挺好的，然後轉折說，孩子自己決定課
後內容也不錯。最後，到底哪種更好取決於學校面向的學生年齡。
　　全文思路結構:
　　讓步: 學校規定孩子做的課後活動挺好的，因為學校可以指導孩子做一些有意義的事
情，從而增長他們的知識。

　　It is undeniable that schools should assign some activities to students
after school, because school could guide students to do something valuable
and meaningful, and thus help them gain more knowledge.
　　轉折：孩子課後自己選擇做一些事情也挺好的，因為可以更好培養孩子的興趣，開發
自己的潛能。

　　However, it is significant for students to choose the acticities they
like, since it is a better way for them to cultivate their own interests and
increase their potential capabilities.
　　遞進：在我看來，孩子們應該自己決定課下的活動而不是完成老師指定的任務，因為
這樣可以培養孩子的獨立能力。

　　From my standpoint, instead of following teachers, students should choose
the activities by themselves students should finish the tasks chosen by
themselves instead of those assigned by teachers, in order to build up their
independence. In the process of choosing the activities they prefer, the
students will accumulate the experience of making an independent decision.

　　(A/D)The food we eat today is much healthier than in the past.
　　波波老師點睛：題目實際上是一種古今對比的題目，即過去和現在食物的健康性對比
。對於古今對比類題目筆者推薦使用“總分總”的結構，在段內進行現在和過去進行對比
論證，即現在如何如何，過去如何如何。筆者的觀點是不同意，認為食物在過去比現在更
健康。

　　全文思路結構：
　　理由一：農藥化肥的使用：(agriculture chemicals/ fertilizer)隨著現代農業技
術(農藥化肥)的使用，現在的食物被污染了,過去的食物是純天然的，(To begin with,
the wide use of agriculture chemicals and fertilizers make the food today
unhealthier than the food in the past). This is because the food today are
polluted by these chemical material. For example, in the past, people cleaned
the weeps to safeguard the corn in the field by manual labors. However,
farmers will use herbicide and chemicals to achieve this goal. Therefore,
some poisonous material will remain on the crops we eat.

　　理由二：飲食習慣的改變：(changes in the habit of eating are another
factor in making the food today much unhealthier) 隨著生活節奏的加快，人們更多
的會選擇吃速食，而這些速食是一些垃圾食品，對我們的身體會有負面影響，比如說造成
肥胖，疾病等。(with the life pace accelerating, people today tend to eat the
fast food which is nothing but junk food. By contrast, in the past, people
have more spare time, they would like to cook by themselves) 在過去人們生活更
加悠閒，所以會選擇在家裡自己做飯。

　　結尾段：有些人認為現在的食物比過去的食物更健康，因為人們吃的食物種類比以前
更豐富了。但是這個理由和我們觀點的理由比起來暗淡無光。 所以我還是認為過去的食
物比現在的食物更健康。(Some people may assert that food today is much
healthier, because there are more diverse food than before. However, this
reason seems lackluster compared with that of our opinion.)

　　Should school focus more on purchasing new equipment or recruiting good
teachers?
　　波波老師點睛：這個題目是一個二選一的問題，對於這樣的題目我們可以選擇，讓步
—轉折—遞進的結構，即先去承認購買新設備的重要性，然後強調好教師的重要性，最後
遞進總結，兩者對於學校的重要性取決於學校面向的學生年齡。

　　全文思路結構：
　　讓步: 購買新設備對於學校來說至關重要，因為先進的教學設施給老師的教學和學生
的學習帶來諸多便利。因此，授課效果和學習效率都會相應提高。電腦和實驗器材就可以
作為兩個很好的例子。通過電腦，老師可以從網路上下載更多的備課資料，大大減少搜集
資料的時間。同時老師還可以使用PPT來展示授課內容，讓課堂更生動。學生課下可以利
用豐富的網路資源，來增長知識。另外，老師可以利用實驗器材來向學生直觀的展現實驗
過程，學生也可以在老師的指導下親自完成實驗，這都會讓教學變得簡單。(Purchasing
new equipments is of great importance to the school, in that the advanced
facilities will bring many benefits to the teaching of professors as well as
the study of children. As a result, the teaching effect and learning
efficiency will be improved a lot accordingly. The computer and experiment
apparatus can cast some light on (prove) my viewpoint.)

　　轉折：雇傭好的老師對學校來說也必不可少，因為好老師能夠傳授學生更多的知識，
培養學生的學習興趣。眾所周知，一個學校的教育品質很大程度上取決於老師。比如說，
一個好的天文學老師在教授天文學概念比如在太陽系中的行星時，可能會和西方神話故事
相結合，這樣學生對課上的知識會掌握的更牢固，而且非常有可能會受到啟發，自己課下
去查詢相關的網站，以獲取更多的資訊。相比而言，普通的老師可能只進行枯燥的概念介
紹，讓學生感到課堂無聊，打消他們的學習熱情( give a damper to their learning
passion)。(However, hiring good teachers is also an integral part of a
school, since famous teachers are able to impart more knowledge to students
and thus cultivate their interest in study. As is known to all, the
educational quality of a school mainly relies on the teachers. For instance,
a good astronomy professor may combine the westen myths with the basic
astronimical terms in the process of introducing the planets in the solar
system. In order to make students memorize Jupiter more easily, he firstly
tell students the Jupiter is the most powerful god in the Greece myth and
thus the Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. )

　　遞進：在我看來，到底學校應該更關注設備的更新還是好老師的招聘，取決於學校內
學生的年齡階段。如果是小學，好老師更重要，因為童年時期是孩子培養學習習慣和人格
的關鍵時期，而老師對孩子這些方面的影響是不可替代的。相反，對於大學來說，購買設
備更重要，因為學生需要通過這些設備來自學。
　　In my perspective, whether school should pay more attention to renovating
the equipment or hiring more good teachers depends on the age of the students
in the school. To be specific, in the elementary school, employing a good
teacher is more important because childhood is a significant period for
children to foster their learning habit and build up their characteristic,
all of which are significantly affected by teachers. in contrast, it is
necessary for the university to purchase new equipment, since students need
learn by themselves / do self-learning / learn on their own by using
facilities.
