英國的屠宰是規定 一定要放血 的。

所有的動物都要先被電擊(stunned)，之後就要馬上放血，

以免動物血還沒放完就醒來，還要再受折磨一次。

When animals have been stunned, they must be bled or pithed without delay. It
must be carried out in such a way as to bring about rapid, profuse and
complete bleeding. In any event, the bleeding must be completed before the
animal regains consciousness.
