下圖為隱形眼鏡內面氧氣壓力(mmHg)與(DK/t)函數關係圖形

黑線代表不造成眼球產生所列生理狀況之最低角膜含氧量需求

由上圖表可看出，在DK/t超過35以上，可以避免因缺氧而產生的角膜水腫問題，

如同Harvitt and Bonanno model所預估的”在睜眼狀態，

CL之DK/t值必須超過35才不會出現缺氧狀態”。

而要避免角膜邊緣充血，則DK/t值需要在100以上。
