太魯閣 - 花蓮

這幾天都會待在花蓮，今天的天氣到下午都還很好，覺得很幸運。
想找一天去太魯閣，目前看了幾個不用申請入山登記的步道，像砂卡噹，白楊跟綠水步道，
想問說我只有帆布鞋，適合走這些步道嗎？
是有看到遊記有人穿拖鞋走白楊。
還有我的交通工具是機車，很怕連假連日的雨，會很容易有落石，如果我大算去砂卡噹，(目前看起來離遊客中心最近)，有比較安全嗎?之前看到中橫九曲洞隧道的路段落石砸死單車騎士的新聞，覺得很怕。
還是有建議坐台灣好行的車去，整個很怕小命不保，又很想去。
