大衛廚房陳老闆企圖心足,
2014年首訪不滿意後鍥而不捨繼續寫信來邀約。
可惜再訪狀況依舊,當然也可能是調整過了頭,
好比白醬的比例。
這一次老闆應該是有備而來,
看到信裡提及咖哩很難克制我早按捺不住的好奇心。
用餐內容:

蒜苗洋芋鮮蚵湯(NT.50)
炸蚵仔(NT.100)
咖哩豬排飯(NT.155+歐姆蛋NT.50)
Prime肋眼(NT.800)
奶油白醬海鮮麵(NT.230+辣椒NT.20)

今天餐點有長足進步。
本日濃湯以馬鈴薯打成泥,蚵仔湯頭突出,
偶爾浮出九層塔,鮮美,可惜味道微雜亂。
炸蚵一盤不論尺寸份量都很大,炸衣尚可,
但這價位很okay。
意外的是咖哩豬排飯。
豬排肉質雖不夠細緻,但鬆軟藏肉汁。
來自胡椒鹽的鹹度討喜,可惜與蚵仔一樣有炸衣缺憾。
淋飯上的咖哩醬汁已有相當高完成度,
雖吃得出用咖哩塊調製,但與其他材料配合良好,
連洋蔥也炒至焦化,算是喜愛的日式咖哩風格。
牛排有些犯規了。
菜單上寫14oz的Prime級肋眼,NT.800,
但上桌時比預期小,老闆說因怕我吃不下所以切8oz。
試吃後當下便明白,厚實與炙燒香足,
端的是Prime美牛肉質,油花分布均勻,幾乎沒什麼筋,
看來都給老闆事先剔除了,難怪只有8oz。
台式白醬吃多了,聽到有辣椒版當然要嚐嚐。
類似咖哩紅醬色澤入口後卻是椒辣突出的奶油白醬,
這衝突偶爾為之其實個人挺愛。
海鮮料依舊澎湃,除肥蝦外當中一顆大扇貝,
看來老闆受前東家好康九九的影響還是頗深。
不過誠心希望下次來時環境能乾淨些,
今天地下室氣味有些重啊。
