而這個字prompt,促使,驅使之意,
語意有點被動的的意味,所以常用prempted表示,
如:His curiosity prompted him to ask questions.

ex:They squandered the profits on expensive cars.
從語意來看,這個委員會做了逼個前所未有的決定,給他2千萬的退休金,
應該不是浪費"squander",而應該用"lavish"才是.
