嘉義晚間連5震！學者：要小心 不見得會停

嘉義地區今天下午5時49分起連續出現5次地震，震央都在中埔鄉，甚至越搖越大力，晚間
9時10分規模達到5，幸好縣、市未傳出災情，但已讓民眾人心惶惶。中正大學地球與環境
科學系副教授石瑞銓直言：「真的要小心，不見得會停！」
據氣象局資料，這幾波地震規模4到5，嘉義市最大震度4級。
石瑞銓說，通常地震都僅搖一下，但現在震央出現同一位置、連續地震，明顯是地底斷層
正在活動，且地殼仍在尋求平衡狀態，較擔憂影響到附近地殼，恐引發更大的地底活動。
石瑞銓指出，地震會緩和或者搖更大，目前不得而知，但民眾要有心理準備，他認為還是
會有地震。
連5震嚇壞嘉義人，住震央的中埔民眾有人嚇得奪門逃出，也有已經就寢民眾在睡夢中被
驚醒，直呼「哇！地震搖得好厲害，真可怕！」
