只是剛好看到推文有各種意見, 有感而發。
首先, 想問大家,「車站前後(東西區)平衡發展」,確切是指什麼呢?
我自己覺得是「讓後站的商圈跟中山路一樣有人潮」,譬如中興路、友愛路。
若要達到這個目的,大概不必鐵路高架化,隔壁日本早就努力嘗試
各種方法了:在鐵路上方蓋商場大樓,或者方便的連通道,甚至看過
蓋住一段鐵道,在上面蓋適合約會的公園XD
如此,就能連接火車站兩邊的人潮。

只是示意一下。
我個人是覺得鐵路高架化只是工具之一,
主要還是嘉義到底需要什麼、想要什麼樣的發展,
鐵路高架化真得是最好的手段嗎?
如果把錢拿來做更有創意的建設,是不是讓嘉義更與眾不同?
我隨便想的啦,如果家樂福夜市可以蓋個很寬的空橋,跟全買連起來
像二高苗栗西湖服務區那樣,在橋上設攤,感覺會變成很壯觀的商圈…
只是嘉義好像沒有太多創新的勇氣,
常常聽到人說:其他城市都高架地下化了,我能不要嗎?!
