International Students: Visa fee increases from end of March 2009

From the 31st March new visa fees will be introduced by the Government
at the same time as changes to the student visa application procedure.
From then, students applying to renew their visas
will apply under Tier 4 of the new Points Based System.

Student applications made in the UK will increase:

From 295 pounds to 357 pounds for the postal service,
including 'batch scheme' applications made through the
International Student Advisory Service;

From 500 pounds to 565 pounds for the in-person service;

Plus a new additional fee of 50 pounds for each dependant included.

Student visa applications from your home country will increase:

From 99 pounds to 145 pounds.

Tier 1 Post Study Work applications made in the UK will increase:

To 500 pounds for a postal application;
To 700 pounds for an in-person application;
Plus 50 pounds for each dependant.
