2. 中式滾刨沒有內凹設計，製做圓棍上，有其不足地方。
3. 中式滾刨要以敲打方式進刀，故出刀量微調不如西式來的精準。
4. 中式滾刨木質會變形會裂，西式滾刨金屬會生鏽。
5. 中式滾刨的產地在台灣，而西式滾刨產地在大陸。

不知道是否有人可以進口大陸的品質良好的西式鋼刨，
就不用被美國人及海關抽好幾層皮。
