Test of English at Matriculation requirement - 留學

今天收到Edinburgh寄的一封信,

因完全沒聽過,所以想請問是否有人有同樣的經驗呢?

內容如下

As the English test score you presented for acceptance at the University was below IELTS 7.0 (below TOEFL paper 600, CBT 250, or iBT 100), then you must take the Test of English at Matriculation (TEAM) as part of your matriculation in Edinburgh.
This test is used only to determine whether or not you require further English language tuition after admission and does not affect the unconditional offer which you hold. Any required or recommended further tuition would be provided free of cost to you after you have matriculated.
Testing and tuition is organised by the University’s Institute of Applied Language Studies. Further information can be found on the IALS website: www.ials.ed.ac.uk. Full details will be provided at matriculation.
