Q1.form這字的意思在字典可以查到有東西被形成或是東西成形,產生的意思

EX:An idea formed in her mind.主意也是被想的,這裡也是用主動,因為是說主意是

如何想出來的 可以把form in 理解成為東西或事物是在何種情形下形成的

Q2. Glaciers may form in permanetly cold areas這句話一定沒問題

根據小弟個人的淺見第二句話有兩個由輕到重的地方 these slowly moving masses of ice cut out valleys ,

ice cut out valleys, carrying with them huge quantities of eroded rock debris.

我認為的原句是這樣的:these slowly moving masses of ice which carried huge

quantities of eroded rock debris with them cut out valleys

改成分詞片語:these slowly moving masses of ice, carrying huge quantities of
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
eroded rock debris with them, cut out valleys
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^ ^^^^^^^
unit1 unit2 重<----動詞為界---->輕
重 <---- 介係詞為界---->輕


所以變為書上所寫的句子,然後再用對等連接詞and連接
