In the end of Year, I am very excited because Chinese New Year is coming soon. This time the New Year’s Eve is at February 6th, and I will receive some pocket money from my family. In the Chinese tradition, if a man or woman is married, then he or she cannot get red envelope anymore. Instead, he or she will need to give the red envelope to the other family members. So, now I'm still the one who can get the red envelope because I'm not married yet. Is it exciting? Now I am waiting for my uncles and aunts coming back to our home and have a dinner with us to talk about what they did in last year and bring their red envelope.
在一年的尾聲 我非常的興奮 因為農曆新年要來了
這次的除夕在2月6日 而且我會從我家裡的人收到一些零用錢
在中國傳統裡 如果一個男人或女人結婚後 他就不能再收紅包了
取而代之 他或她就得發紅包給其他家人
所以 我現在還是可以收紅包 因為我還沒結婚
這值得興奮吧??
現在我在等我叔叔跟姑姑回來我們家一起跟我們晚餐 來告訴我們他們去年做了什麼順便帶他們的紅包來

I want to tell you about Chinese New Year which is the most important festival for the Chinese people and it is also my favorite holiday. It usually starts around the end of January or the beginning of February and we usually have 2 weeks holiday. On New Year's Eve all family members have dinner together and after dinner the children play games while adults chat. On New Year's day people will hang new spring festival couplets on the wall and pray to our ancestors and wish they can bless us to have a good and successfully year. For most of the children the happiest thing is to receive a red envelop from our elders and there is always some money inside which means once we have the money we have to grow up one year old and be more familiar with human affairs.

通常過年從一月底或是二月初開始 有兩個禮拜的假期
在除夕夜當天 所有的家庭成員匯聚在一起吃晚餐

在新年當天 人們會掛新的春聯在牆上 然後會像我們的祖先祈禱
希望他們保佑大家有的成功的一年
對大多數的小孩子來說

紅包裡通常會有一些錢
