Positions for MS/Ph.D. students interested to work on
high-efficiency AI and ML distributed systems at Big-Learning scales.
We are looking for students and interns to join a fast-paced
and tight-knit team who is on a mission to take deep learning
to the next level.
We are a group of systems builders and we focus on the scalability,
efficiency and robustness of deep learning.

For Research:
Our goal is to perform world-class and transformative research.
The funding conditions and connections with other top universities
are excellent. This enables us to tackle ambitious projects.
Funding also enables travel to support trips to conferences and
extended stays in other research groups for collaborations.
Also, all the facilities are top notch --
they are there to support and expedite scientific research.
For Living:
KAUST offers opportunities for a good life-work balance in
addition to excellent community services, recreational centers,
restaurants, cinema, access to free healthcare, free schooling
and the opportunity to join a diverse and enriching community.
KAUST is a safe place to live: access to the KAUST village is
securely controlled and only allowed for university members
or registered visitors. KAUST residents can enter/leave campus
as they please.
The nearest large city is Jeddah. KAUST has regular shuttle bus
services to many locations in Jeddah. People go there for shopping,
restaurants, activities or simply have a taste of city life.
Within campus, the life-style is segregated from traditional
Saudi culture.
Women are not required to cover themselves.
KAUST is the first mixed-gender university in Saudi Arabia.
Life at KAUST is similar to what you would expect in a highly-diverse
western society. Our community is comprised of >100 nationalities.
The campus has 7000+ residents. Oh, and we have a private
beach on the red sea :-)
