An MIT official indicated to me that many top US schools, including MIT, will
cease accepting TOEFL scores as admission requirement starting next year. They
ask student to take IELTS instead. TOEFL is "problematic," the MIT official
said. So everyone should reconsider about preparing for TOEFL. Some MIT
programs already ask for ISELTS results and make no mentioning of TOEFL.
