聽力
（共三部分，包括一個加試，但好像不是經典加試，又好像是：特洛伊那個）
第一部分1.女學生姐姐結婚，她要請假，所以下周不能上課了，就來問老師下周那個
LECTURE的事
2~3都想不起來了
第二部分1.女學生買書，網上訂的沒有了，學校書店的帳號有問題，所以自己來問了
2~3有一個是礦石硬度什麼的，說了金子和鑽石的事
第三部分1.女學生代表一個組織找學院的ASSOCIATE DEAN（就是什麼助理院長吧，總之是
領導）ARGUE建科學 圖書館的事。
2.特洛伊的發現什麼的，好像跟一首詩有關係，我是做題的時候才知道的，聽聽
力的時候沒聽出來
3.忘了，回來路上還記得來著，對不住大家了



口語
1.對你最有用的工具，我說的是電腦
2.自己應對挑戰還是請別人幫忙
3.學校要安裝電子佈告屏
4.忘了那個名詞是什麼了，就是幫人解決壞習慣或是不想要的東西的技術。聽力材
料裡那個男教授舉的他自己戒除巧克力的例子
5.男的問題是本來打算給SHOW做廣告，結果錯過DEADLINE了，這意味著這個SHOW就
沒人看了；女的提供方案，一個是延期到下周，但男的說下周MUSIC HALL 就不AVAILABLE
了；另一個是在POSTER貼條。男的直接就認可第二個方案了
6.不知道是啥東西（好像是海裡的東西），對動物的兩個用處，一個是NURSERY,
就是托兒所，一個是FEEDING PLACE（飯廳）



寫作
綜合寫作閱讀材料好像是說翼龍吧還是什麼東西，是SKIM FEEDER。聽力材料肯定
說不是。

獨立寫作是問政府應該SUPPORT藝術博物館音樂廳還是遊樂場和公共游泳池。

第一篇講金字塔 題目不是很記得了
*問為什麼工人要生活在河的兩岸 因為要運建築用料到工地
*還有句子插入題應該是放在一段列出資料例如工人人數 石料數量的 前面

有兩答案不知道哪個： 一個事文獻裡有記載 一個是很多高官都是未法老服務

第三篇簡單 不過忘記了 出很多單詞題 不過都很簡單

3. 文章：學校要弄一個electrical board 把所有的imformation, coming up events
都放那 想說那樣學生就不用四周看海報 而且學校也會更整潔 因為牆上沒海報了
聽力：女生反對
集中反而更不容易看到 覺得四處海報才好
舉了個她一在圖書館看到海報所以在沒錯過一個show的例子
因為貼海報比較方便 沒有人會提交imformation 然後再等它post出來

4. 一個說學校要建個圖書館 但是會覆蓋了原有用來hang out 的地方
一個女生是一個組織的代表 想申請一個event 去表示他們組織的反對
*問到為什麼Dean 要問她組織裡有多少人 因為要確定他們是否有足夠影響力
*問雜誌上什麼寫錯了： 其實這件事還沒定下來
*那個女的應該做research 然後去參加會議 直接跟領導人講

男的原本要弄個announcement on newspaper 讓跟多人來 但是他忘記了 錯過deadline了
女的說那改期吧 男的說 那個music court很難book 改期可能就要另找location

後來就把它想像成是泥做的 來reduce the temptation



口語補充
1. Describe an object you rely on in your daily life

2. when you have challenges, do you like to solve it by yourself or find
somebody else helps you.

3. in the reading, a letter on the campus newspaper, a student suggests to
build an electronic board at student center which will make students get
information easily rather than acquiring news at different places on campus
by posters.
In the conversation, the women thinks it will not work. 1st, it had better
for students to get news from different locations on campus because they are
everywhere at school, if they do not go to student center, they will miss the
notice. For example, last week, she went to a concert
2nd, she says, even though the new bulletin board was established, students
will still do posters because of it is convenient.

4. negative ideation. Is a method used by people to resist desires by adding
something negative.
In the lecture, the professor gives his personal example of chocolate and
mud, he loves chocolate because it is tasty. But chocolate is not good. So he
used the method of negative ideation to refuse chocolate. Whenever he wanted
to buy chocolate bar he would think it is associate with mud which is the
mixture of dirt and water. He stopped buying.

5 man has a problem. He did not submit the announcement for upcoming event
this week to the school’s newspaper before the deadline. He is worrying
about there will not be many students come to see the performance. 1st
solution, postpone, but it not easy to book the music hall where the
performance will take place. 2nd, notice students by posters at different
locations on campus since students are everywhere

6. 2 ways of animals use wetlands temporarily,
1, for nursery, sharks lay eggs in wetlands close the to the ocean,
because wetlands are shallow, there are not large predators, baby sharks can
grow safely in the wetlands and survive in the ocean.
2. for rest and find food. Immigrating birds, for example, … paper, during
the long journey of immigration, stop the wetlands to find the food because
they can find similar food like before.



寫作
小作文：說古代的一種恐龍時不時skim feeder 跟black skimmer（一種鳥） 比較
1他們都用strong beak. 但因為經常插水 beak容易壞
但那鳥能regrow it's beak 但那恐龍不行
2那恐龍的肌肉不能讓他保持straight when toward to water 非常危險
3這個過程很耗energy 恐龍太大只 不划算 他可以同吃屍體來避開predator 而且耗能少

大作文：goverment support art museums and music performance or recreational
facilities

Section 1:
Conversation: 學生要去參加妹妹的婚禮，所以下周不能上課了叫pro輔導一下，
pro討論了一下（有細節題），然後說他 會把要講的內容發給她的。
Lecture: sun spot。我靠！我完全沒聽懂，白在米國混這麼幾個月了。
Lecture: Archaeology. 關於Troy的，沒聽懂，就知道何馬史詩亂七八糟的，
開始說空間不大剩不下人，後來科學家發現其實可以剩下。但是這是2003的事情了，
有個題目是1983的時候的一個突破，我覺得大家好好聽下這年份上的事情.

Section 2:
Conversation:
Lecture: Literature。說Seint這個女作家總是重複句子是因為受到了畢卡索等Cubism影
響，亂七八糟的，反正還是沒聽懂

Section 3 (加試):
Lecture2: Biology.釋放Chemical毒毛蟲，或者釋放chemical通知其他植物，或者 釋放
chemical叫predator來吃insect.



口語
1.

Negative Ideation。就是說通過聯繫不好的情況來resist東西。教授說它把Chocolate想
像成mud就戒了

樂隊演出，結果男的錯過了在newspaper上發announcement的deadline，大家都不知道，
開個P的演出啊！女的說可以改期，但是會場難定；那poster也可以。

Wetland’s two benefits for animals. Ocean sharks give birth to baby in
wetland because baby can survive. Migrating birds can be fed in wetland
because food similar to ocean’s.



寫作
文章：Skim-food bird和一種恐龍很像。因為beak, muscle and size.
聽力：反對，逐一反對了，結果我還是沒有catch到要點。

獨立寫作：
Government should more support art museum and music performance than
recreational facilities, such as swimming pool or play ground.
