各位大大好，小弟本人目前正準備申請 2022 Fall 運籌學/管理科學/資料科學的program
，目標是希望能在畢業後到他校讀博（希望能在GaTech的ML或OR博士），在未來擔任教職

我自己的研究興趣是smart transportation, intelligent transportation system這類
的（從今年六月就做了這個分析紐約計程車），所以像CMU的program就是在CivE底下的；
另外，有些會選擇PhD單純因為沒有研究型碩士（其學校視他們的碩士為terminal degree
)，不然我覺得自己可能資歷不夠直博。自己申請的大部分都是工院下的Operations Rese
arch/ Management Science，不過若沒有則選擇CS底下的ML。自己喜歡運用各種optimiza
tion model和機器學習模型於smart
mobility，但對開發新模型架構興趣比較沒有，所以就沒有選太多CS的program。以上選
校主要是參考本版爬文與教授的建議，希望各位前輩可以對我選校或選program不吝指教
，讓我這個好高騖遠仔能夠在申請上更腳踏實地一些，甘蝦～
