龍潭的油桐花 - 龍潭

油桐花(Vernicia montana Lour.)，大戟科植物，又名廣東油桐，每年4～5月開白花，因
此有「五月雪」之稱，另外，油桐花主要分佈於桃竹苗客家地區，因此現在都主打「客家
桐花祭」推觀光。



三和村的油桐花知名度似乎不高，即使村裡的義工會在桐花景點服務，不過遊客少，可以
靜靜的享受賞桐、拍攝油桐花。而小粗坑步道就人山人海，許多遊客會收集掉落的油桐花
，編成花冠。
