還要符合UKBA新規定
4/21 之前只要符合level B1就能核發CAS, 4/21之後則必須符合level B2
level B2 Ielts是5.5 但是iBT 87 標準幾乎快到達Ielt6.5
如果有符合學校規定 但卻沒有達到UKBA聽說讀寫任何一科的標準
是否就無法申請學生簽證了呢！？

Dear XXX,
As you may be aware, the UK Border Agency (UKBA) has recently
introduced some changes to the Tier 4 student visa route.

One of the changes has impacted on English Language requirements,
with the UKBA now requiring applicants intending to study at degree
level and above to have achieved level B2 in each of the four
language components.
For example, this equates to the following:
IELTS
Listening – 5.5
Speaking – 5.5
Reading – 5.5
Writing – 5.5
TOEFL
Listening – 21
Speaking – 22
Reading – 23
Writing – 21
The above requirements apply to Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
issued after the 21st April.
Please note - English Language requirements for visa purposes may be different
from those required for your programme.
You will still be required to meet any English Language conditions
as stated in your offer.
With respect to applicants holding unconditional offers and who meet
the above component level scores, we will continue to issue CAS’s as normal.
For applicants whom we’ve acknowledged as meeting our programme language
requirements but don’t meet the above, the University is currently reviewing
the impact of these changes, and hopes to be able to issue further guidance
shortly. Please be assured that where possible we will put in place
appropriate processes to support our applicants during these changes.
